All SACNAS paid members enjoy the following benefits:

- voting rights in the SACNAS Presidential and Board of Directors Elections

All SACNISTAs, regardless of paid membership status, are invited to take advantage of SACNAS resources:
- read stories of minority scientists, mathematicians, and engineers through the SACNAS News, SACNAS Biography Project, etc.
- view & search opportunities for undergrads & postbacs and opportunities for grads (e.g., summer research programs, research internship, scholarships, grad school, professional development, etc.)
- view & search opportunities for postdocs and opportunities for professional (e.g., jobs, grants, meetings, professional development, etc.)
- view resources (e.g., training materials, articles, videos, etc.) related to your discipline & interest: student resources and professional resources
- mentor undergraduate and graduate students and precollege educators through the SACNAS-MentorNet partnership
- get involved as a volunteer mentor, author, student abstract reviewer, research presentation judge, etc.
- lead a conference session to share scientific research with colleagues, postdocs, teachers, and students or to offer professional development to at the national conference
- apply for student scholarships in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through SACNAS partner, Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) (HSF also provides opportunities for STEM internships)
