Regional Meetings
In our strategic plan, SACNAS outlined our commitment to hosting Regional Meetings "...to supplement the annual SACNAS National Conference in order to better serve our student members."
SACNAS supports chapters or partner institutions to host two SACNAS Regional Meetings each spring. Regional Meetings provide an opportunity for chapters, general members, area high schools, and professionals to receive information on SACNAS programs, activities, and upcoming events, while providing opportunity for chapters in the region to communicate, network, and share ideas, and allow students to present their research.
Funding
The Regional Meeting program, logistics, and funding will be the responsibility of the host chapter and SACNAS National Office. Host institutions and chapters are selected via a Regional Meeting selection process at the SACNAS National Conference.
How to Propose a Regional Meeting
Please contact program manager Perla Miranda for more information and to receive the Regional Meeting Application and Guidelines.
