Community College Day

at the Phoenix Convention Center, Phoenix, AZ

Time: 9 AM - 6 PM Arizona Time

Community College Day is a FREE pre-conference event for interested community college students that are registered to attend #2024NDiSTEM. Attendees will discover opportunities, degrees and careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

We encourage all interested community college students to sign-up using our interest form below as sponsorship opportunities may be available.

Participants will explore the possibilities of an education and career in STEM through:

Motivational Talks and Engaging Workshops

Hear directly from peers and role models while learning valuable skills - how to apply them in your daily life and how to leverage them toward your career goals

Interactive Activities and Resources

Get hands-on scientific exposure and learn about opportunities to take the next step in your STEM career

Networking Lunch and Community Dinner

Connect with fellow community college students and professionals from all over the country while building community with one another!

Eligibility

Participants should be:

A current community college student – interested in a STEM career
Registered for the #2024NDiSTEM Conference
At least 18 years of age
Able to attend the entire event

Attendance is free for all current community college students. Sign ups are first-come, first-served.

Please note: Participation in this event may require additional lodging and/or travel expenses, which is not covered by the 2024 NDiSTEM registration/SACNAS.
