Dr. Anita Stone Marshall is a Lecturer and researcher in the department of Geological Sciences at the University of Florida, Gainesville and a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Her primary research area is Geoscience Education with a focus on access and inclusion for underrepresented groups in STEM, especially people with disabilities. Her work focuses on making experiential learning opportunities more accessible through programs like the Library of Inclusive Field Technology (aka the L.I.F.T. kit) – a lending library of tech tools that enables the participation of students with disabilities in field learning activities.
