SACNAS hosts an annual gathering to bring together Indigenous speakers, students, and other professionals to hear about work happening in Indigenous Country. The 2024 theme will be on data sovereignty which encompasses data about Indigenous resources and environments; people’s, communities, or nations; and from Indigenous communities such as ancestral knowledge and culture. ​

Join the first SACNAS virtual chapter for Tribal College/University students and faculty! Get connected, network, and learn how to build your SACNAS community on campus. A 1-year SACNAS student membership is offered to those who sign up for the chapter and will have opportunities to attend the conference.

The Native American/Indigenous Affairs Committee provides strategy, advice, and support to staff around the creation of programs and initiatives specifically for native and indigenous populations (e.g. Native American, Native Alaskan, Native Pacific Islanders) and native programming. Additionally, this committee serves in an advisory capacity to SACNAS around cultural competency and relevance in regard to native communities. This committee also outreaches to help cultivate new relationships with native communities, native owned businesses, Tribal colleges, etc. to develop new partnerships and revenue.

SSNAP provides year-round mentorship, workshops, networks, and support for Native American undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in STEM.

A six-month program designed to foster meaningful mentor-mentee relationships rooted in the SACRED framework. This program provides guidance, connection, and opportunities for personal and professional growth, aligning with the principles of Vision, Strength, Connection, and Impact.
